We encourage all applicants, if at all possible, to audition in-person.

- Recorded video auditions are available by request and must be submitted by February 1 to your Blue Demon Domain (for undergraduates) or your application portal (for graduates/post-masters), in the “edit portfolio" section. Audition Repertoire
Master's in Piano Performance Requirements
Candidates must prepare a selection from EACH of the following categories. Memorization is required.
- A composition by a Baroque composer; e.g. Bach, Scarlatti, Rameau, Couperin
- A complete Classical sonata; e.g. Clementi, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert
- A composition from the 19th or 20th century
- A virtuoso etude; e.g. Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Debussy, Ligeti (excluding Chopin's Opus 10, Nos. 3 and 6; Opus 25, No. 7; and the Trois nouvelles études)
Certificate in Performance Requirements
Candidates must prepare three complete works of their choice, in contrasting styles, totaling 40 minutes of music. All pieces must be memorized.
Recorded Interview Questions (only applicable to those who select a recorded submission to audition)
