Tuition and Fees

​​​​​​Undergraduate

​​​The School of Music’s undergraduate tuition is billed as a guaranteed package rate, meaning you pay one flat fee each year for all of your coursework, between 12 to 18 credits per quarter, and you are billed the same rate each year you are in a program for up to four years. In other words, the tuition rate from your first year of the program is locked in place. Tuition for undergraduate students entering the fall of 2024 is $46,608 annually. Tuition is billed in thirds and due at the beginning of each quarter.​

*Depending on primary instrument, students may be subject to pianist fees for rehearsals, lessons, and recitals. Fees are subject to change each academic year.

​​​​Graduate

​​The School of Music’s graduate tuition is charged per credit hour. Graduate tuition for students entering in the fall of 2024 is $988 per credit hour. Tuition is billed in thirds and due at the beginning of each quarter.  All fees for students entering in the fall of 2024 are as follows:

  • Tuition costs – $988 per credit hour
    • Tuition for typical full-time master’s degree students (24 credits per year) will be $23,712 per year
    • Tuition for typical full-time performance certificate students (18 credits per year) will be $17,784 per year
  • UPass  fee – $105 per quarter
  • Athletic fee – $25​
