Performance Space Reservations

​​​​Students may reserve Allen Recital Hall (C102) and Brennan Recital Hall (C104) for up to 2 hours a week. Additionally, Jazz Studies students may reserve the Dempsey Corboy Jazz Hall (C250).  These reservations are intended to be used for recordings and dress rehearsals – not  for personal practice.

These bookings open three weeks before the reservation date and close one week before the date.       

Policies for the School of Music (SOM) and Holtschneider Performance Center (HPC) spaces:​
  • ​SOM/HPC spaces are to be used by current SOM students, faculty, and staff only.  All outside guests must have pre-approval and be on campus for academic purposes only.
  • SOM/HPC spaces are not to be used to teach lessons to anyone who is not a current SOM or CMD student – this includes lessons held over Zoom or other video conferencing services.
  • These spaces are kept locked – students will need to retrieve a key from the key lo​ckbox​. 
  • Classical piano students are permitted to use the Hamburg piano for up to 4 hours per quarter and break. Please email Julia Miller at least one week ahead of your reservation so staff can be scheduled to move and unlock the piano before and after.  
  • Reset all chairs, stands, and any other equipment you use to the location where you found them.
  • Treat rooms and equipment with care – report any damages to Julia Miller
  • Beverages with secure lids are allowed in these spaces, but food is not.
  • Any violations of these policies may result in loss of access.​
