Technology Request

What equipment does the Music Technology Office have available?

We have many types of technology available:
  • Video cameras
  • Portable projectors
  • Microphones and PA systems
  • Various adapters to connect almost everything.
  • Mac and PC laptops (available ONLY to faculty and staff for off-site presentations and other business-related purposes)
Any requests for equipment not in our inventory will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Who can request equipment?

Students, faculty and staff members who are currently enrolled or employed by the School of Music.

What are the request deadlines?

Requests for equipment will only be considered when the online form is received two business days prior to the requested date.

Equipment is loaned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Demand for equipment increases during auditon, recital and concert season, so please plan ahead, as equipment is limited.

Requests received less than 2 business days prior to the date will not be fulfilled.

What is the process for signing out equipment?

First complete a request form. To ensure you receive the best equipment to fulfill your needs, complete this form with as much detail as possible. Students are also required to sign a Financial Penalities for Loss or Damage form at the time of equipment check-out.

Please schedule the "check out" and "check in" dates and times during Technology Office business hours (M-F 8:30am-4:30pm).

Requests received less than 2 business days prior to the date will not be fulfilled.
