School of Music Career Closet

Find Free Performance Wear at the SOM Career Closet!

HPC Box Office Lounge

Whether you're preparing for an upcoming recital or audition, or you've simply outgrown last year's concert attire, the DePaul School of Music Career Closet has you covered, literally.

The DePaul School of Music Career Closet offers a variety of new and gently-worn performance attire for music students to browse and keep, free of charge. The purpose of this initiative is to offset the financial burden our students experience as young professionals when navigating auditions, interviews, internships, recitals and other performances.

To access the SOM Career Closet, students must present their student ID to an HPC Box Office assistant during Box Office hours. To allow as many students to benefit from this resource as possible, individuals are limited to three items from the Career Closet each academic quarter.

Are you interested in donating items to the SOM Career Closet? Read our FAQs below for details.
