About
Yu-Ju Sun received her MM degree in piano performance from New England Conservatory where she was a student of Randall Hodgkinson. She also served as a collaborative pianist for the Preparatory and Continuing Education school.
In 2004, Ms. Sun received full scholarship from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she worked as an accompanying assistant and studied piano with William Heiles and Dennis Helmrich.
As a soloist and chamber musician, Ms. Sun had performed in various music festivals and given recitals including Chopin Conservatory (Poland), Taipei Yoshi Culture Center (Taiwan), Boston Symphony Hall, and Krannert Center for the Performing Art.
Ms. Sun often works with and instructs musicians ranging from young children to graduate-level students. In 2007, Ms. Sun joined the Community Music Division as a faculty at DePaul University, focusing on Suzuki Instruction. She also serves as a collaborative pianist for the cello and viola studio at DePaul University School of Music.
