John is a first year graduate student studying jazz trombone performance. He comes to DePaul from Maryland, where he taught band, orchestra, and guitar in public schools. He has taught all ages, but particularly likes working with beginner and intermediate level students. John holds bachelors degrees in music education and jazz studies from The University of Maryland.
