About
Kari serves as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the Community Music Division. Before moving to Chicago, she played the saxophone in the Michigan Marching Band while studying at the University of Michigan. She came to Chicago to receive her MA in Humanities from the University of Chicago focusing on Music and English. She also works as a teaching artist with organizations across Chicago teaching music and creative writing.
