Performing Arts Management (BM)

A Bachelor of Music in performing arts management prepares students for careers in the multi-dimensional industries of not-for-profit arts administration and commercial music business. In collaboration with the College of BusinessĀ and The Theatre School, this program provides students a broad understanding of the performing arts industry, insight into the theories and principles associated with arts management, and a proficiency in the practical application of necessary business skills.

  • Earn a minor in Business Administration through Driehaus School of Business courses in management, marketing, finance, accounting, business law.
  • Experience valuable internships with nationally recognized arts and music organizations such as Lyric Opera, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Steppenwolf Theatre, Grant Park Music Festival, Aware Records, Recording Academy/Grammy Awards, and House of Blues.
