About
Evan Hammond-Leppek joined the DePaul School of Music in November of 2023 as Director of Admissions. Prior to working at DePaul, he served as Senior Admissions Counselor with Northern Michigan University, and has served in various admissions roles both with the University of North Alabama and The Office of Recruitment and Diversity at the LSU School of Music. 

As a classically trained baritone, Evan has performed over two dozen roles with highlights including the title role in Eugene Onegin, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, John Cree in Elizabeth Cree, the Steward in Flight, and the Forester in The Cunning Little Vixen. In 2020 he was a District Winner in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition and an Encouragement Award winner at the Upper Midwest Regional. He has participated in young artist programs including Des Moines Metro Opera, Central City Opera, Shreveport Opera, and Utah Opera.
