Music Theory Lab
The CMD’s interactive Music Theory Lab gives students the
opportunity to gain knowledge and skills that will deepen their
understanding of the music they are studying. Students are personally
guided through written worksheets, ear training/movement activities, and
composition projects. Progress is evaluated through successful
completion of graded levels of the CMD’s Music Theory Curriculum.
Beginning levels focus on scales, intervals, key signatures, notated
rhythms, meter, and note reading. Upper levels include harmony,
counterpoint, and analytical work.
