Auditions: Undergraduate - Guitar

​Applicants pursuing ​Jazz Guitar must submit a prescreen by December 1. ​​Classical applicants do not need to submit a prescreen.

For jazz applicants, please scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Jazz Guitar drop-down box for audition requirements.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Students auditioning on guitar choose to audition either as a classical guitarist or as a jazz guitarist. A classical audition is not required of jazz guitarists, and a jazz audition is not required of classical guitarists. Please note: DePaul School of Music does not offer auditions or instruction in other styles of guitar (such as rock, pop, or contemporary).
