- Naderman: Sonata No. 2 from Sept Sonates Progressives I
- Lariviere: Etude No. 36 (Allegro)
- Solo
- A free choice from standard solo repertoire
- Three orchestral excerpts of your choice. Examples include:
- Tchaikovsky: Cadenzas from the Nutcracker or Swan Lake ballets
- Bartok: Concerto for Orchestra, Movement IV mm. 43-59
- Verdi: La Forza del Destino Overture
