Application Process: Transfer Students

All transfer undergraduate applicants interested in pursuing a music major must apply to DePaul School of Music by December 1.

Transfer application materials vary by major. All materials are due by December 1. Select your major below to view your specific requirements. 

Transfer students are students who have college credit from a college outside of DePaul. You should also use the transfer application if you are a first-time college student age 24 or older. If you are a current DePaul University student interested in becoming a School of Music student, please visit the Inter-College Transfer page.

Please note: In addition to your current college transcript, a high school transcript is also required if you are 23 or younger and have 23 or fewer semester credits, or if you are 24 or older with 11 or fewer semester credits. 

The Transfer Application is the first step in the application process. After you submit your application, you will gain access to the application portal / Blue Demon Domain. This portal is where you will upload your required materials and track your application status.
