About
Charles Dieterle is a Chicago-based trombonist, equally adept at performing and teaching. He has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Santa Fe Opera Orchestra, and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.

Charles is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Music Performance at Northwestern University, and completed his Bachelor's degree in Music Performance at DePaul University in 2016. He also spent four summers studying in Colorado at the Aspen Music Festival.

In his spare time, Charles likes to exercise. He particularly enjoys exploring the outer limits of Chicagoland on his road bike. He has summited 12 of the tallest mountains in Colorado, as well as the tallest mountain in New Mexico. During these mountaineering trips, he made friends with one black bear, five mountain goats, and several dozen marmots.
