Welcome to the Holtschneider Performance Center!
Three floors, 185,000 square feet of thoughtfully designed performance, practice, and classroom space. The $98 million building was completed in the summer of 2018 and now serves as the Lincoln Park Campus's eastern gateway. Stunning in design and practical in function, this new facility sits on the site once occupied by McGaw Hall. It includes the wholly-redesigned Concert Hall, which has become the Sasha and Eugene Jarvis Opera Hall. The renovation preserves the chapel that is beloved by Lincoln Park residents for its New England architecture and it landmark soaring white steeple.
This is a place where every student has the chance to be extraordinary.

Named for a man with the utmost respect and deepest devotion to the arts—the Rev. Dennis H. Holtschneider, C.M.—this building serves as both the center of excellence where aspiring musicians can find their voice and a community center where all are welcome to enjoy live performances. For young musicians, this is a place to be inspired and to feel the power of an enraptured audience. For music lovers, this is Chicago's newest home to hear the world's best alongside the next generation of virtuosos."
