Steve Smith has been with Aware Records and A-squared Management for 15 years.  Steve has served VP of A&R for Aware Records working with the likes of John Mayer, Five For Fighting, Mat Kearney, Guster, and Wheat. Additionally he helped start the management division of Aware called A-squared Mgmt, who clients have included The Fray, Brandi Carlile, Mat Kearney, Jack's Mannequin, Mayday Parade, Five For Fighting and several others.  He also served on the Chicago NARAS Board for 7 years.  In addition, Steve is the Executive Director of the Dear Jack Foundation, a non-profit focused on serving young adults facing cancer.
