The Suzuki program includes weekly individual lessons, required group classes, and quarterly recitals. The group classes focus on performance, stage presence, ensemble skills, and music reading concepts. Students must provide their own instruments. A traditional acoustic piano (non-digital) is required for Suzuki piano students. Parents actively participate in the educational process by attending all individual lessons and group classes, keeping track of performance goals, and supervising at-home preparation and practice. A cooperative relationship between teacher, parent, and student is essential for a successful early experience.
