Vocal Audition Preparation and Repertoire - Classical and Musical Theatre

Open to high school students interested in collegiate-level training in opera, art song, and musical theatre repertoire. The class offers coaching in vocal technique, diction, foreign languages, interpretation, and stage presentation. Students learn from each other in a collegial, nurturing, online and non-competitive environment. Preparation for both university and regular auditions will be included in the curriculum. Guest faculty artists from the DePaul School of Music and Theatre School will be invited for selected classes. Recent participants of this program have been accepted to DePaul School of Music, Eastman School of Music, Indiana University, Roosevelt University, and  Rider University.

Teacher recommendation or online audition required for admittance.  

Equipment needed: audio (Bluetooth or other) speaker to play accompaniments, online access (Computer, tablet or phone) with a camera.​
