Prelude Choir
is a beginning choir experience for children in first through third grade who enjoy singing and participating in a group setting. Class activities will focus on correct breathing and tone production, ear training, performance skills, song preparation, and stage movement. Musical selections include a variety of excellent folk songs and musical theater excerpts particularly suited to young voices. 

New students wishing to join the Prelude Choir should fill out an inquiry form or email communitymusic@depaul.edu for an informal placement interview.

  • $120 | 8 sessions
  • For Fall 2020, students will participate in a virtual performance to be premiered on YouTube at the end of the session.
