After receiving his BM in Music Education, Mark began playing and teaching in the Chicagoland area. He has performed and recorded on saxophone and woodwinds with Jeff Hamilton, Malik Yusef, Benny Golson, the Temptations, Phil Woods, Tito Puente, Jr., Daphne Willis, and 2 Live Crew, along with fine bands like the Mulligan Mosaics, Tom Matta Big Band, Rob Parton Big Band, Joe Clark Big Band, Ian Torres Big Band, Model Citizens, and M13.
Recently, he completed his MM in Jazz Composition from DePaul University. Mark continues to perform and record regularly in the Chicagoland area on saxophones, clarinet, bass clarinet, and flute. He teaches saxophone, Jazz Ensemble, and Summer band for the DePaul University Community Music Division New Horizons Ensembles. ‚Äč
