About
Nora Mello is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Piano Performance at the DePaul University School of Music. Nora is a recent graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing. For further musical training, she has attended the Internationale Sommerakademie Ettal (2018), Encore Chamber Music (2016), MSU Masterclasses in Todi, Italy (2014), and Brevard Music Festival (2013). Nora has won first prize at various competitions, including New England Music Camp’s Concerto Competition where she performed the first movement of Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 with orchestra and the American Fine Art’s Festival where she performed at Weill Hall (Carnegie Hall) in New York City. In addition to her studies, Nora is a teaching fellow at the DePaul Community Music Division and an accompanist at St. Anne’s Parish in Littleton, MA. Principle teachers include George Vatchnadze, Deborah Moriarty, and Dr. Tish Anne Kilgore.
