About
Marti Kallenberger is a freelance horn player in the Chicago area where she has lived and worked since 2012. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in her hometown from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and moved to Chicago to study at DePaul University where she earned her Master’s Degree in French Horn Performance in 2014. Marti has attended the Aspen Music Festival and was a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago from 2013-2015. She has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as well as the Elgin Symphony, the Northbrook Symphony, Chamber Opera Chicago, the Chicago Symphonic Winds, and in a variety of local theater productions and recording projects. She currently teaches at DePaul University's Community Music Division, Rock Start Lessons and Ravinia’s El Sistema education program.
