Orff Level I and II

Carl Orff once said, "Children have always loved to play. Why not let them learn as they play?" Imitation, exploration, creation, literacy and ownership, is the process to Carl Orff's philosophy.

Orff Schulwerk certification classes will include working with Orff ensemble, Orff literature, improvisation, composition, pedagogy, recorder and movement. Participants will be actively making music while learning basic Orff process and methodology. Special topics will also be offered to cover areas not included in the basic curriculum.

2023 ​Rates: Credit: $2,685 / Credit with Working Teacher Discount: $1,190  / Non-credit: $1,045

Limited on-campus housing for the workshop is available for $1,100 for the two weeks. Please indicate your interest ​in this housing option when registering for the workshop.​
