Trumpet Intensive

July 27 - 31, 2020

The Trumpet Intensive will be led by faculty members Stephen Burns, Paul Lowry and David Cohen

Over five days, students will work with the DePaul trumpet faculty on a variety of important topics including the art of practicing, common orchestral excerpts, solo repertoire, etudes, and fundamentals.  These classes will be presented virtually in both masterclass and lecture formats.  Students will have ample opportunity to perform while refining their musicianship and general health of playing.  This intensive will give a virtual taste of what DePaul's trumpet studio has to offer, and how the school can help to enrich your playing and future career.  Students will also each receive an hour long, one-on-one lesson with one faculty member.

Virtual class sessions will run each day from 10AM - 1PM (CST) with masterclasses, group discussions and workshops.  The hours from 2PM - 5PM (CST) will be reserved for individual private lessons.  A one-hour private lesson for each student with one member of the studio is included with this program.

Registration is now closed for this intensive.
