Harp Intensive

The Harp Intensive will be led by faculty member Julia Coronelli​.

Harpists! Whether you are on the cusp of winning an audition and want some extra insight, or just love the harp and want to learn and connect with other harpists, this is for you. Attend from anywhere in the world virtually!

The Summer Harp Intensive will also include exciting classes with guest artists Sarah Bullen (Principal, Chicago Symphony) and Grace Browning​ (Principal, Santa Fe Opera & Rochester Philharmonic).

This is an action packed virtual week of all things harp including:
  • What today’s modern harpist needs to know & do to thrive in today’s world.
  • How to make auditions and performances an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
  • Daily masterclasses each morning for 3 hours.
  • Private lessons each afternoon.
  • Studio Class​
  • Audition Preparation (school & orchestral)
  • Mental toughness, perseverance, & balance.
  • Excerpt Class
  • A mock audition.
  • Orchestral & solo rep welcome.

In addition to the above listed, Sarah Bullen will lead a masterclass and a Q & A, and Grace Browning will lead classes entitled “Opera 101” and “Harpist As Human.”

​​Virtual class sessions will run each day from 10AM - 2PM (CDT).  The hours from 2PM - 5PM (CDT) will be reserved for individual private lessons.  A one-hour private lesson for each student is included with this program.

Enhance your Instrument Intensive by adding on a Mindfulness for Musicians workshop, led by DePaul School of Music faculty member Stephen Burns​. This workshop is designed to heighten a musician's focus, relaxation, confidence, and peak performance levels. Runs daily for one hour prior to the Instrument Intensive.
