Summer Voice

Monday, July 27 - Friday, July 31, 2020

The Summer Voice program will offer an innovative virtual program for current college-level students seeking to refine audition repertoire through voice lessons, coachings, stage technique classes and performances. 

Over the course of the five days, students will participate in stage craft classes designed to bring out their most honest, effective and impactful performance of solo repertoire.  Students will also participate in studio classes and masterclasses with members of our distinguished faculty. These classes will focus on freedom and efficiency of technique, expression of intentions, and audience engagement.  In addition to these class sessions, students will receive individual coaching and voice lessons with our entire world class voice faculty and distinguished guest artist Sasha Gerritson​Let DePaul University show you how our world renowned, experienced and generous faculty can launch you toward the next step in your vocal career.

This program provides a rare and unique opportunity for current college-level students to work with all of the School of Music's illustrious voice and opera faculty who are professional musicians at the top of their fields.

Tuition for the program is $275 (non-credit) for currently enrolled DePaul University School of Music students (including those beginning in Fall 2020), $375 (non-credit) for all other students.

Please submit your resume and recent headshot, and portfolio recordings from required repertoire.  Please upload two pieces; one in English, one in a foreign language. One of the pieces should be an aria. 

The DePaul University School of Music may have more specific requirements for using Zoom with musical content. Here is a guide to assist you with getting the most out of your Zoom session.
