About
Nicolas has over 17 years of experience in online music and digital media. He is currently President/Founder of NueMeta LLC, a consulting firm focused on developing technology and data management solutions that enable media and entertainment companies to embrace the opportunities available within the digital marketplace. His expertise and experience have enabled him the opportunity to work with many of the leading companies in his industry including Sony, Google Play, TouchTunes, Beggars Group, YouTube, SoundCloud, Vevo, Beats Music, Amazon, Pandora, SirusXM, 7digital, TECNO Mobile, SFX Entertainment/Beatport, Spafax, VEVA Sound and Sociedad General de Autores y Editores (SGAE). Throughout his career he has been involved in the development of a number of industry metadata standards as a board member and working group chairman for the Digital Data Exchange (DDEX), a member of Metadata Working Groups for the European Broadcast Union (EBUCore), National Digital Stewardship Alliance (NDSA) and Audio Engineering Society. 

Prior to NueMeta, Nicolas worked at AOL Music Now where he was the Director of Content and Music Licensing Operations. Prior to this, Nicolas co-founded TuneTo.com Inc., a technology company focused on media delivery over the internet, which was acquired by Listen.com in 2001. At Listen.com Nicolas was the Content Services Manager for Rhapsody, the world’s first online music subscription service. Nicolas has degrees in music and electrical engineering from the University of Miami.
