Chamber Orchestra
Tom Hall, conductor
Established in 2001 as a small string ensemble, the DePaul Chamber Orchestra has
expanded to include winds and now presents standard selected repertoire from the
late Baroque through the 20th Century on concerts given in October, November,
February, March, and May. Some rehearsals are dedicated to rehearsing
non-performance repertoire by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, and other major
composers. Students are expected to develop and maintain high standards of
discipline and performance. Instructor for the DePaul Chamber Orchestra is
former Chicago Symphony Orchestra violinist
Tom
Hall.
Membership in the Chamber Orchestra is open to all DePaul students, subject of
audition.
