Kevin Wong grew up in the Western suburbs having studied piano with Marilyn Andersen at Wheaton College's Community School for the Arts. He continued undergraduate piano studies with Linda Camp at Elmhurst College and attended graduate school at Roosevelt University studying with Winston Choi. Kevin has studied Harpsichord and Organ with David Christiansen, piano pedagogy with Wendy Unrath, and Jazz Piano with Skip Green.

Kevin Wong is an active teacher and has received Suzuki certification through book there studying with Fay Adams, Caroline Fraser, and Rita Hauk. He has studied the Taubman approach with Teresa Dybvig and continues to research piano technique and movement. Kevin attributes much of his technical growth to pianists Gerald Stofsky and Pawel Checinski. 

Kevin is the Organist at Kingswood United Methodist Church in Buffalo Grove. As a church musician, he has held positions in Oak Lawn, Morgan Park, and Schaumburg; his repertoire includes Gospel, Spiritual and Traditional Church Music. He has accompanied the Greater Chicago Opera Guild, Pullman Community Choir, and Pilgrim's Chorus and has appeared as an orchestral pianist with the DuPage Symphony and Fox Valley Philharmonic Orchestras.

Kevin enjoys cycling, sailing, and kayaking. He is also a lifelong chess player, and he speaks German and translates Austrian Literature.
