About
Rolando Freitag is a registered Violin Teacher Trainer and serves on the Board of Directors at the Suzuki Association of the Americas. He is on the faculty at the Western Springs School of Talent Education and at DePaul University Community Music Division.
Mr. Freitag earned his M.M. in Violin Performance from Penn State University, and his B.M. in Violin Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory. In addition, he holds the Certificate of Achievement from the Suzuki Association of the Americas, an award given to teachers who demonstrate outstanding commitment to excellence in their teaching.
A native of Brazil, Mr. Freitag is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, an avid scuba diver, a US Sailing Instructor Trainer, and a US Coast Guard licensed Captain.
