We reserve the right to hear portions of this list in order to allow the audition committee to hear as much of the repertoire within the allotted time permitted for the audition. Applicants are not required to perform on piccolo but we encourage you to do so. An accompanist will not be supplied by the school; however if you choose to bring your own, please inform the admissions office.
- Reichert, Seven Daily Exercises, Op. 5 No. 1
- Bach Sonata in E Major, Movement I or II
- Choose one solo from the Solo Repertoire listed below:
- Chaminade, Concertino
- Robert Dick, LOOKOUT
- Dutilleux, Sonatine
- Godard, Allegretto
- Griffes, Poem
- Hindemith, Sonata, Movements I/III
- Muczynski, Sonata, Movements II/IV
- Poulenc, Sonata, Movements I/II
- Taffanel, Andente Pastoral and/or Scherzettino
- Choose one solo of your choice (this can be a concerto)
- (Piccolo, optional)
