Kodály Levels I and III

At the heart of the Kodály philosophy is the student’s innate musicality and the use of natural, logical pedagogical sequence to unlock the key to musical literacy. Kodály Level I and III courses cover the inspiring philosophy and teaching tools promoted by Zoltan Kodály. Successful participants will finish with an abundance of new songs, games, activities and techniques that will energize, organize and perhaps transform their teaching. The daily schedule will include pedagogy, musicianship, folk music materials, choir and special topics such as instruments in the classroom and classical music connections for students.
