About

Roger Goodman is acknowledged to be a leading interpreter of both Baroque and Contemporary harpsichord literature. He has performed solo recitals in major concert halls throughout the United States and Great Britain, including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, New York's Merkin Concert Hall, the Abraham Goodman House and the Wigmore Hall in London. Mr. Goodman is familiar to Chicago audiences through live recitals and frequent WFMT broadcasts from Studio 1. He has made two solo recordings, The Richness of 17th-Century France, and Music from the Mature Baroque. The breadth of his interests and experience is evident in his several degrees, two in music history and another in theology.
